Obituary for Diana Boyes (Weichelt)

It is with great sadness we announce the
peaceful passing of Diana Boyes (nee; Weichelt).
At her home in Orillia, with her children by her side,
Diana left this earth to begin her forever journey,
on Thursday, February 3rd 2022 in her 66th year.
Loving Mother of Vanessa Cooper and Nicolas Paolucci
Dear mother-in-law of Joe Cooper and Kate Paolucci.
Cherished Mimi of Joey, Paige, Oliver and Violet.
Dearest Daughter of Irene Van de Kemp and the late Gunther Weichelt and
the late Tony Van de Kemp. Sadly missed by her siblings Rosi DiLeo (Danny),
Erana McCombs (Mark), and Kim Van de Kemp. Fondly remembered by
Arsenio Paolucci (Brenda). Forever remembered by her bff and soul sister
Mirka Rollason. Predeceased by her brother Joe Weichelt,
sister-in-law Robin and nephew Dean DiLeo.
Diana will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her many
nephews, nieces, extended family and cherished friends.
The family would like to thank the Bayshore Nursing staff and Home and Community Care for their support and compassion. Special thanks to Diana’s community of friend’s and family for their on-going support with visits, calls, homecooked meals
and treats, and most importantly, the emotional support.
At Diana’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place.

on Sunday, February 6th, 2022, from 11:00am – 1:30pm
A private family service will take place in the chapel at 2:00pm.

Purple was Diana’s favourite colour. Please feel free to wear
your “purple” in honour of Diana for her visitation/memorial service.
Due to the circumstances arising from COVID 19, we will be limiting the number of people allowed in funeral home at one time. Masks mandatory.
Diana had many passions in life. Supporting many organizations were certainly part of it. It is because of these great passions; we ask for all donations of sympathy be directed to a couple of charities that were dear to her heart.

Simcoe Muskoka Regional Child and Youth Mental Health Services.
